Norsk Folkemuseum

The Norsk Folkemusuem is a must see while in Oslo. It details the rich history of Norway and has very unique features that the other museums lacked. It features a whole outdoor section with numerous "old-school" Norwegian houses. The Norsk Folkemuseum is located in Bygdoy as well and is only a few blocks from the Viking Ship Museum. I think my main complaint from that particular day was that THERE WAS SO SO SO MUCH WALKING! I want to say that we had walked around Oslo during most of the morning and then decided to tackle these 2 museums in the afternoon. That was such a mistake because my feet were in some serious pain. So in hindsight, I think I would have had a lot more fun had we not walked 20 miles that day. All my focus was on the pain searing through my feet.

Although, I do gotta say that I'm thankful that we didn't have to walk to Bygdoy, but instead got to take a boat. My feet really appreciated the break during that nice, albeit short 5 minute boat ride.
