hello blog-o-sphere

Let's cut straight to the chase. This is my, what feels like millionth, blog that I'm starting up. I'm hoping now that I've done a bit of "soul-searching", that I've finally figured out what kind of blog I need to run. I've tried the whole "photography blog" (big bust especially since I don't take pictures as much anymore), the "insightful meanings of life" blog (way too tiring), and the "secret blog" (which I still keep up but since no one sees it then it's more of a diary). So having traipsed through it all, I've decided that I'm just going to write a blog. No more trying to show off my photography skills (look mom, I shot this using the rule of thirds!) or pondering the reasons for my generation's complacency towards world issues (what?). Instead, I'm just going to write. Well... type.

And to start, let me introduce you guys to TinyAlice.

That's me. I'd like to think I'm fun, easy-going, awesome on so many levels, & way too cool for school. But I'm not... I'm human. I can be happy, hyper, & a chatterbox. Most of the time I'm goofy, silly, quiet, & burdened with the world heavily on my shoulders (just ask my masseuse). I love dogs, watching tv, and unsurprisingly enough, shopping. I'm a sucker for boiled crawfish and a good song. I hate getting out of a hot shower on a cold night and don't even get me started on my daily 6am alarm clock. I laugh a little too loud, a little too much. And of course, I can't live without my beloved kindle. Because reading is what the cool kids do.

I think it's about time for me to pry myself away from my Mac. My eyes are starting to hurt from staring at the screen too long. Yikes, growing old sucks.
