Backyard friend

I'm lucky that I have a nice, huge tree in the backyard. It's a meeting hub for all the cute squirrels in the neighborhood. They're usually chilling up the trees and munching on little acorn thingies... you know, being adorable and all that. The other day I went out with the doggies so that they could relieve themselves when I caught this particular cutie trying to keep from roasting in this hot, Houston heat. He was all kinds of splayed out on the branch and it looked like he was trying to keep cool by dangling his feet off the branch & just laying there. It was too cute to handle.
